Who says Barbie is only for the little girls?! Charlotte was turning 17 and the Barbie movie came out the week of her birthday, so her and her girlfriends celebrated both! They went big with a fun Barbie themed dinner party, complete with lots of Barbie box photo ops, great food, fun desserts, and some quality girl time!! This party was fabulous to say the least and the girls had the best time. All of the details were perfection and we even had the talented Jenna Norman take some video content which you can see at the end of the post, we are absolutely obsessed with it!!
Take a look below and check us out on Kara’s Party Ideas today!
Chelcea Creative took a nod from the sign in the Barbie movie for our welcome sign and it’s pretty darn cute!!! It looks even more adorable with Bowie’s Balloons magic touch!
We set a table at Charlotte’s families beautiful home right on the bay. You may remember her sweet 16 birthday party from last year that was in the very same spot. It’s always a beautiful location! Sweet Salvage Rentals brought out their pretty pink chairs for this one, I mean it was a must, right?!
The table was set with Meri Meri’s blush pink plates, Sophistiplate’s flatware with a modern white tumbler and a pink disco ball glass for funsies! The bright pink tipped napkins are from Hostess Haven and my girl Chelcea Creative took care of the details! Pretty custom menus were made with the classic barbie silhouette and we even had Barbie font place cards for the guests and custom cocktail stirrers – all designed by Chelcea and cut by Creative Amme.
The gorgeous floral arrangements that lined our table were done by the talented Tanya of Earth & Grace. There’s a reason she’s one of my favorites! Look at how pretty those are!
All of these adorable little details just kill me! Simple, but so good!!
Such a pretty sight!!
Yummy bites from Taylor Made Catering were set out for our guests to nibble on…
And that stunner of a cake was made by Danielle at Sheila Mae, isn’t it gorgeous?! Deena, Charlotte’s mom, made little bite sized desserts for the girls too – they were so cute and delicious!!
The perfect little cake topper by Chelcea Creative and Creative Amme completed it all!
You know my friends at Goldie Crew Creative made the most amazing backdrop for us!! The girls had so much fun with the Barbie box and took tons of photos together in it – I love these photos, they are SO fun!! Jenna captured so many good ones! Every Barbie party needs a Barbie box, in my humble opinion!
The balloons that Bowie’s Balloons added were perfection! Now…. Let’s go party!
Even Mama Deena got in on the fun!
Pink polaroid cameras were set out for the girls to have fun with! Such a great addition to any tween or teen party…
We love this family!!
