Not too long ago I gathered a few mama friends for a fun night at Sur La Table! We did a build your own charcuterie class at their South Coast Plaza location. It was not only informative but a great time spent shopping, eating, and sipping wine. Sur La Table treated us so well and I thought it was the perfect time to post this as it would be a great activity for Mother’s Day! In order to set the scene we enlisted the help of Not Just in Novels who brought gorgoeus flowers. Chelcea Creative added her sweet little place cards as well. They both also participated which was so fun! Sur La Table took care of the rest having mini charcuterie boards for each of us along with swag bags, tasty treats, and more!

Before we charcuterie’d up we shopped! Sur La Table offers a discount to those who take their classes so I of course took it as an opportunity to stock up! I even did some gift shopping for my mom & sister too!
Chef Jessica kicked things off advising us on what we were getting into. She was a great teacher and we even got to pair wine with our boards!
Despite the wine we were all very attentive listeners, haha!
The art of the salami rose! We all learned this magic trick and made sure we got it just right…
No fun was had at all! Haha! We are a silly bunch, so you know we kept it light!
Just one of the finished products! It was such a fun way to gather and learn and of course have some fun! I highly recommend their classes to do with friends or even with your hubby!
