We are still on a pink high after Valentine’s Day and thought it was the perfect time to share this romantic day! Our dear sweet client Melkis was turning 50 and it was her turn to be celebrated! We’ve done amazing parties for her twin daughters and her husband in the past. You can see a few of them here, here and here. With her having a milestone birthday her husband Scott had the opportunity to throw her a big bash! The best idea he had was also including a vow renewal, does it get any more romantic?! What a guy!! He had help from her bestie and of course your’s truly! Look at all of the magic we created at the beautiful Ponte Winery below!

Beautiful Melkis is Cuban and a must for this party was having that fun Cuban influence throughout. From small touches like the signage and details by Chelcea Creative to the flowers from Goldie Blooms and more, you’ll notice the Cuban flair. First, the party started with a lovely cocktail hour taking place outside. The scenery was already elegant but we added a few things to make it even more special!
Starting with this pretty lounge from Sweet Salvage Rentals! With blush, neutral, and golden tones along with rattan, it doesn’t get much sweeter!!
Again, those Goldie Blooms flowers really add a gorgeous pop and Cuban touch!
Without question we needed a bar serving up custom cocktails and delicious wine!
Next, this adorable vignette with a vintage dresser and suitcases from Sweet Salvage Rentals added such personality! We added rattan fans, florals, greenery and candles to bring even more Cuban flair!
In addition to all the outdoor fun, inside had this stunner of a table! This was such a fun one to design!! Clearly that table linen from BBJ La Tavola is everything! I adored the color and the Cuban touch it added. Next we set the table with Hostess Haven’s beautiful tableware. Mixing blush, gold and neutral tones made the table not only elegant but fun!!
Without question this is a gorgeous set up! In particular, adding in the custom menus, blush pillar candles, and pretty glassware just makes my heart happy!
As a matter of fact, the combination of the candlelight and the flowers is what makes this table shine!

Obviously our birthday girl needs a birthday cake!! This cutie is by Sweetly Blessed Baker.
Finally, the vow renewal!! The moment we’ve been waiting for! The altar is stunning and the gesture that Scott made doing this for Melkis is the sweetest. We love this couple and family!!
Lastly, there’s our girl!!! Indeed she’s looking absolutely GORGEOUS in pink!!! We LOVE you birthday girl!!!
