A Sardine Girl Summer Party on the Beach

2025 is officially a Sardine Girl Summer! Yes, it’s all the rage with the European aesthetic and I can’t get enough. The whole style reminds me of summers I’d spend in Portugal with my family. Sardines are a favorite there!! The eclectic colors and patterns along with fresh fruits and vegetables and or course fish! Needless to say I was inspired and without a doubt had to tackle this theme. Creating this beautiful party on the beach was such a thrill and I’m even more thrilled to share it with you today! First, the most adorable invite by Chelcea Creative, of course! Using the colors and patterns from or vibrant table along with sardine details she nailed it! This invite is cheerful and happy and has me ready to celebrate Summer!!

Onto our beautiful beach set up!! Without a doubt it wouldn’t be an amazing event without our friends at Goldie Crew Creative! This backdrop is a new favorite and my only regret is the sun was shining so bright it’s not as visible in these photos. Even so it was a showstopper and I’m sure you can tell how gorgeous it was with our set up!

Speaking of this adorable setting, one of my favorite parts are the eclectic rental selection from Sweet Salvage Rentals. The fun and funky mixture of vintage chairs, the yellow umbrella and more. It’s all so perfectly curated it makes my little planner/designer heart so happy!

Next is our truly amazing table!!! There are so many incredible details!! Tons of fruit and veggies lined the table along with fishing net and cute sardine touches like real tins of fish from Harry & David and this platter from Target.

Furthermore the place settings are equally detailed. I used these rattan chargers, adorable striped plates in blue and yellow along with rattan and pretty green glassware. Napkins in tomato and lemon prints paired with white and gold flatware completed it. The icing on the cake was Chelcea Creative’s cute place cards!

Indeed the details and all of these gorgeous photos are making me swoon!

When throwing a sardine summer party, you must have sardines!!! These cute tins are from Harry & David and they have loads to choose from!

Without a doubt this table is adorable but let me tell you, these plates were HARD to find. Collectively I think we went to 15 different Targets searching for them. It was a mission but we did it and it was worth it!

Did you notice all of the pretty blooms? Importantly we needed beautiful florals to bring this table to life and Earth & Grace made sure it did! Different textures and colors brought even more personality to this table and we ain’t mad about it one bit!

Florals paired with cherry tomatoes may be my new favorite thing…

To demonstrate the cuteness of sardines take a look at a few of Harry & David’s selection below. Set and styled on a pretty platter?! I mean, come on!

At this time we move onto the bar! Which may or may not be my favorite place at any party… Especially when it has cocktails made by Wes & Wren Mobile Bar! We set this bar with small bites like olives, bread & oil along with quite a few cocktails. So darn perfect for this summer soiree!

In addition to our delicious cocktails I couldn’t help but include some wine! Vinho verde is a yummy and popular Portuguese wine and I also included an Italian Pinot Grigio. The perfect summer duo for us to enjoy!

Let me tell ya what we have here… A spicy watermelon spritz, a tangerine margarita, and a guava lemon drop. Sooooo yummy!!!

Finally it’s time for dessert! Sugar from the Heart Bakeshop curated the most adorable and delicious spread! Sardine approved desserts?! Hey, never thought I’d say that but the answer is yes!!
