Those warm summer nights are here and it’s time for all those pretty outdoor dinner parties! Just as the sun is setting and that light is just right is when we like to wine & dine. To kick off the summer of 2025 we worked with our friends at Sur La Table and their beautiful Wild Poppy collection. Full of bright colors and whimsical touches in a melamine material this is the perfect collection to use all summer long. Look at the pretty we created on the beautiful grounds at The Swanner House. Undoubtedly it wouldn’t be a Beijos party without a pretty invite to set the tone! And as always, our friend Chelcea Creative delivered to make this one extra special and stunning!
Besides a stunning invite there’s this stunner of a table! First lets start with those beautiful rattan chairs and amazing table. Of course they are from our favorite rental company, Sweet Salvage Rentals. They have the prettiest pieces!
Next is the star of the show, that Sur La Table tabletop. Isn’t she pretty? Wild Poppies is the name of the collection and you can see why! Beautiful floral art in various colors makes such a beautiful print. First we layered the salad plate and dinner plate over that pretty rattan charger.
Second I added that chic white and gold flatware along with the unique glassware. I am loving the funky yellow and orange glassware paired with the pink low balls. Finally, I chose another pop of color with that fun madras print napkin and used the rattan napkin ring to match the charger. Voila! Summer table perfection!!
As you know, the little details like these dainty place cards from Chelcea Creative make my heart happy!
Along with the beautiful flowers on the plates were the ones on the table! The queen of flowers, Krista of Not Just in Novels, created these beauties. Indeed these arrangements were full of bright colors and textures, just like the plates! Without a doubt they shined on this table and added so much to the design.
In short, this table is breathtaking! However, I’m just getting started because every dinner party needs food & drink!
Certainly the food and drink better be just as pretty as our table! Lucky for us, it is!!
Bright colored lemonade, rosé and delicious bites are on the menu! In the same way the flowers popped on the table these lemonades pop in Sur La Table’s pretty dispensers.
Pro tip, pour ice in the dispensers then place sliced lemons between the ice and the container along the edge. Pour in your desired beverages and it looks extra pretty!
Moreover tasty bites like crostinis, salad, a charcuterie board and more were available. All of these delicious and pretty servings were from Elizabeth at Charcuterie Aboard. She is so creative with everything she makes and we love her dearly!
In fact there was even a cake, because we always need something sweet to finish it off!
All of us were obsessed with this beautiful salad bowl and serving utensils from Sur La Table! That pink is so fun!!
Furthermore this platter in the Wild Poppy print was so darling! Perfect spot for these crostinis before we devour them!
Leah, go ahead and pour that rosé girl!!
