BEIJOS COCKTAIL | MAY 7, 2024
You will always win when giving a lady some flowers and cocktails.
Mother’s Day is coming up this weekend, and if you’re looking for a thoughtful gift for the special lady in your life, I have a great idea that is sure to impress. Flowers and cocktails are always a winning combination, and in my experience, they make for a delightful surprise that anyone would love.
For a floral-inspired drink, I recommend an elderflower cocktail that combines botanical notes, fresh lemon juice, and vodka to create a refreshing and sophisticated beverage.
In addition to the cocktail, consider gifting some small containers of flowers from your local nursery that the recipient can plant and enjoy for weeks to come. You can also add some fresh flowers from the market to create a beautiful flower carrier that will make your gift even more special.

WHAT ELSE CAN I ADD TO A MOTHER’S DAY GIFT?
Add a personal touch: While the idea of gifting flowers and cocktails is great, adding a personal touch can make the gift more thoughtful and memorable. You can include a handwritten note or a small gift that the lady in your life would appreciate.
HOW DO I MAKE THIS CARRIER?
You can order different types of carriers from Amazon or Temu. I recommend Amazon, especially since Mother’s Day is just around the corner. As for flowers, I picked out ones that are not only pretty but can also be replanted in a container or on the ground for spring and summer. You can choose cosmos, snapdragons, and even some fresh lavender that they could use for cooking. Alternatively, you can skip the flowers and go for herbs.
For the fresh flowers, I went to the local market and created a mini bouquet. I then put it inside the carrier along with potted flower plants. For the final presentation, I took a couple of stems and pushed them out of the carrier to make it look full and whimsical.
