Last year we were lucky enough to be a part of Visit Newport Beach’s amazing “Après Sea” campaign. It was designed to encourage people to visit the beach rather than the snow. Who needs to Après Ski when you can Après Sea in the best way?! With beautiful sunny days through-out the winter there really is no better place to be! We helped bring their vision to life by bringing in all the necessary elements and making Newport Beach shine! Check out all of the fun below, and see the amazing video at the end…

Our first task of the day was creating this incredible element of Ski to Sea!! We enlisted the help of our friends at Goldie Crew Creative to bring the vision to life. They brought the most amazing backdrop that had our model looking like she was a hot little snow bunny to revealing she was actually basking in the sun at the beach. It’s such a fun way to kick things off and worked out in the best way!!
Next we helped with this adorable sledding scene! Bringing in vintage sleds from Sweet Salvage Rentals and that cute wooden sign from Goldie Crew Creative the models took to the sand! Goldie Crew also brought the blue and white ski flags to complete the vision. With palm trees in the background and the Balboa Pier this is quintessential Newport!
Another quick stop at the beach with the cutest lounge set up from Sweet Salvage Rentals! Vintage surfboards, plaid pillows, sheepskin rugs, and rattan all mix to create a Winter scene at the beach I want to live in!
The models were ready to take this one on the road!!! Onto our next stop in style…
Onto the yacht!! Without a doubt, it wouldn’t be a day in Newport Beach without being on the water! Fondue, plaid and sweaters all during a gorgeous sunshine filled day! The most amazing spread of food from Thyme Well Spent set with Catalog Atelier tabletop. Who says you need the snow to enjoy the winter?!
Furthermore, we even created a cozy board game area below deck with hot cocoa and scrabble!
Finally to top it off we got cozy with roasted marshmallows!! Winter never looked so good!
Last but not least, this rad video shows it all!!! Now, I need to head to the beach and really enjoy winter!!
