Another year is quickly coming to a close and the holidays are upon us. Clearly it must be time to think about holiday cards! You know we always love Minted and they are our go to for each and every holiday. Not only do they offer unique and beautiful cards they also have amazing accessories like stamps, wax seals, and much more. Lastly, I enjoyed using their design sampling boards this year. It allowed me to view my card completely which was a great way to see my vision come to life.
Finally, let’s take a look at our choices this year! As usual they are all pretty and all very different from each other. It’s always fun to see each of our picks and share them with you, check them out below!

This year I chose this beautiful card from Minted’s collection in collaboration with The Met. I actually first saw it in an email advertisement I received from them and immediately loved it. It’s called Ornate Textile by Kate Ahn. Each piece in the collection is inspired by art at The Met and this particular card was inspired by a tent panel from India in the 17th century. I immediately fell for the beautiful colors and tones along with the unique prints.
To complete my vision I added the wavy border, envelope liners, and wax seals. Of course I had to include a little message and update about my family on the back along with a few more photos. I can’t wait to send these to my family and friends this year, it’s always such a special time!

I love this time of year, choosing a Christmas card to send out to my family and friends. Over the last couple of years, I’ve gotten some cards from friends with black and white heirloom portraits that I absolutely loved, so this was the year that I planned to copy them, haha. But really, in a sea of beautiful families in colored photos on my Christmas card wall, the black and white photos were playful and different, so that was what I was going for this year.
With that in mind, I chose a classic card with one photo in the front, and a simple trendy bow. Since the front is classic and a little serious, I made sure to get a little silly on the back. I loved the classic vibe of “Crimson bow” by Olivia Kanaley Inman, and thought it was a perfect fit for the black and white portraits the kids took this year. Since the card is simple, I made sure to add some color with the envelope, and pattern with the envelope liner, all while keeping it traditional with the green and red.
I love how Minted has all these customizable options so that every card is uniquely your own. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. It’s definitely one of my favorite cards, especially since it highlights their time of growth, no longer babies, and growing up so fast right before my eyes.

This year I went with the Sloane Holiday Photo card by Morgan Kendall. I loved the simple design and the bold colors that tied back in with the greenery in our photos.
One of my favorite features that Minted offers is the triple thick paper it gives significant weight to the cards and keeps them in tact for their long journey across the pacific to all my family in Australia!
The envelope liner was an added touch of fun for me!
