Last year we had the pleasure of planning a big bash for Avanti, a premier kitchen equipment dealer based out of Orange County. They wanted to host their annual holiday party but go big as it was their 20th anniversary as well! We went back and forth on a theme and landed with the Roaring 20’s to coordinate with the anniversary.
Taking place at the beautiful Balboa Bay Club we went all out on the decor and theme which was so much fun! I thought it was fitting to post around New Year’s as it would be such a classic and fabulous theme for a NYE party. Upon arrival we greeted guests with glam! Our signage pieces designed by Chelcea Creative were on theme and gorgeous! Incorporating Avanti’s logo along with art deco components brought the 20’s to life.
In addition to the stunning signage were incredible backdrops by our friends at Goldie Crew Creative. This first backdrop had our escort display. I love the touches of glam with the art deco wall paper, gold balloons, and feathery flowers!
Without a doubt the vintage furniture throughout the party from Sweet Salvage Rentals really brought our theme to life! Using different textures and colors to compliment each other and having that roaring 20’s touch was so lovely!
We must admit delicious passed hors d’oeuvres, champagne, sparkles and flowers makes everything better!
Lucky us, the Bay Club had recently remodeled their ballroom and the light fixtures were just on theme! With a large space like this we really had to bring in some fun details to have that wow factor!
First lets take a look at the bar! Again Sweet Salvage Rentals had the perfect pieces for our glam and vintage theme. Adding in Goldie Crew’s backdrops was also a must along with Balloon Works gorgeous golden balloon garlands. It was the speakeasy of our dreams!
Lets talk details… Little extras like the vintage hats and antique megaphone were so good! Custom cocktail napkins and drink stirrers from Chelcea Creative and Creative Amme added that personal touch. Of course we can’t forget the bar menu with nods to Mark, the owner of the company and a nod to the Great Gatsby. It’s all so good!!
These guys were ready to work overtime!!! This party was popping!
Next our the beautiful tables where guests enjoyed dinner. To start I chose black sequined tablecloths from BBJ La Tavola to up the glam factor. They paired nicely with the venue’s standard tabletop items. Glamming it up even more were the beautiful flower arrangements from Earth & Grace. She used white and black tones with feathers which went so well with our 20’s aesthetic. Lastly, the menus and table numbers again designed by Chelcea Creative and made by Creative Amme were the finishing touch the tables needed!
Another showstopper was this beauty of a backdrop! Goldie Crew Creative and Balloon Works really made this event shine!! It was the perfect addition to the space and served as a moment to capture for all of our guests. In addition to all of the fun you’ve seen we also had tarot card readers, an additional photo booth, an amazing band, and scroll down to see one more fun surprise…
Flapper Dancers!!! They were so much fun and performed as guests were eating dinner. It was the perfect way to kick off the party and bring the roaring 20’s to life!
