This past Summer we threw the prettiest baby shower for Samantha who was having a baby boy. Traditionally baby boy showers are blue, but Samantha had a different idea for hers. She gave us a fun inspiration with an art print being used in her nursery. We saw that and let the creative juices flow using it to inspire the design for this funky and fresh shower. With colors of greens and neutrals along with fun pops of orange and navy plus geometric prints, this shower is anything but traditional! Keep scrolling to see more…

The shower was held at Malibu Farm at Lido Village and we had this sweet little welcome sign by Chelcea Creative to greet guests as they entered.

Upon entering the room the setting was quite beautiful! Balloons by The Pop Shop cascaded from the ceiling and tables draped in the cutest printed linens by BBJ La Tavola added a fun pop!

First we set the tables with Catalog Atelier’s fun pieces including rattan chargers, ceramic plates and gold flatware. Adding in Not Just in Novels whimsical floral arrangements and Chelcea Creative’s delightful details completed the overall vision.

Moreover a sweet lounge was set up by Sweet Salvage Rentals for guests to enjoy. Any chance we have to use her beautiful rental pieces is always a must! They are unique, special and make every event look even prettier.

The view at Malibu Farm isn’t half bad!!

Without a doubt a mama to be needs a dessert table! This one was colorful and sweet! Our friends at Sugar From the Heart Bakeshop brought all the tasty treats including a terrazzo inspired cake that is just oh so amazing! Almost too amazing to cut into, almost!!

Last but not least that gorgeous mama to be! Isn’t she the cutest?!

Goes to show that baby boy showers can be just as pretty and fun as baby girl’s, don’t you think?! Thanks for having us!! This shower was inspiring to us as well!
