Cinco de Mayo is always a Beijos favorite! For me it’s always a fun excuse to celebrate. What I really love about it are the vibrant colors and the delicious food & drinks. There are so many different directions you can take with this fun holiday and we’ve done it all. But this year we decided to make it a bit more sophisticated and use a new color palette. We took this one outside at the most beautiful venue in San Clemente, Agape. Wait till you see all of the stunning photos by Jessica Lynn Photo – we had a lot of fun with this one! For this elegant Cinco celebration Chelcea Creative designed a beautiful invite suite & details. Our color scheme was pink and orange and we used different shades of each. From pops of color to subtle hues, she nailed it on this one! Her beautiful details always amaze me!
Following that beauty we have this! Our incredible table set up in the most beautiful spot. Located on Agape’s gorgeous patio was this gorgeous fountain which was the perfect backdrop for our table. Sweet Salvage Rentals brought her elegant table and chairs that suited this setting quite nicely.
Best of all… these flowers!!! Not Just in Novels REALLY brought it for this one! A mix of peonies, poppies, and more! Swoon worthy is an understatement because this beauty is nearly too much to handle!
Next, our place settings were equally festive as they were pretty. Catalog Atelier’s collection always inspires me! The orange beaded rattan chargers, the pink plates and glassware, and the terra cotta hued flatware all came together to wow us!
I seriously gasped when I saw these photos! These flowers are truly breathtaking…
Adding in Chelcea’s cute details was also fun! I used terra cotta pieces through-out the table as well along with fruit to bring character and texture.
Every angle gets better and better!
Now for the delicious food, my favorite part besides the flowers… Agape’s resident Chef created beautiful and tasty dishes for us. A build your own taco spread with all the toppings and a refreshing salad had us drooling!
Across from our stunning table was the other star of the show – the bar! Goldie Crew Creative built this incredible backdrop to frame Sweet Salvage Rental’s pretty pink bar. Besides food and flowers, cocktails are my OTHER favorite! The team at Agape created 5 signature cocktails for us to feature. Of course they were all equally pretty and delish!
Anyone sick of these flowers yet? Obviously I’m not!
To clarify, I volunteered to be the taste tester and I have absolutely no regrets! It’s part of the job…
Clearly these cuties deserved their close up!
In addition to the bar was our beautiful lounge. Sweet Salvage Rentals brought the beauty yet again and added that pop of color with the pillows. Such a sweet setting!
