Yes, it’s almost too good to be true…
I have seen a few different versions of these and was a bit intimidated to try them out but they were surprisingly easy!!!
Let’s get to my 3 favorites, starting with the Strawberry Pisco!
This one was probably the hardest to make, but turned out the best in my opinion! So it’s worth it…
Ingredients
1 cup halved strawberries
1 1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
3 oz pisco
Add the sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat
Stir until the sugar dissolves and remove from heat to let cool
Once the syrup has cooled add the halved strawberries, mash the berries to a pulp and then strain
Add the lime juice and the Pisco and set in the refrigerator to chill
Once chilled, drizzle over a cone of packed crushed ice and garnish with fresh strawberries!
Next up is the Gimlet, a classic! I know my hubby liked this one a lot, he’s a vodka man!
Ingredients
1/2 cup lime juice
1/4 cup sugar
3 oz vodka
Directions
Add the lime juice and the sugar to a bowl and stir thoroughly until the sugar has dissolved
Stir in the vodka and place in the refrigerator to chill
Once chilled, drizzle over a cone packed full of crushed ice
Garnish with fresh limes! We also added some lime zest..
If you like piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain… Haha, I had to… But seriously, this piña colada sno-cone is so yummy, just like the real thing!!
Ingredients
1 cup chopped pineapple
1 oz coconut milk
1/2 cup simple syrup – equal parts sugar and water
3 oz white rum
In your blender combine the chopped pineapple, simple syrup and rum then puree until smooth
Strain then stir in the coconut milk and then place in the refrigerator to chill
Once chilled, drizzle over a cone packed full of crushed ice
Garnish with a pineapple wedge, ours were grilled!
These are all yummy to eat on their own, or you can use a straw so you make sure to get your buzz on quick, ha! Enjoy!! And happy 4th of July weekend!!
xx
