This week is all about the daddy’s in our lives. Those amazing fellas deserve the best, and we can’t wait to show them how much they mean to us! We love to give gifts, especially personalized ones just for that special someone. Last year, we created personalized wooden prints for them and they were a huge hit! If you missed it, check them out here.
This year, I wanted to something that my husband could use everyday. Do you have a husband or father that leaves a trail of coins and receipts everywhere they go? I could spend all day gathering money in random spots in the house. I looked up some ideas, and came up with the leather catchall for this father’s day. Not only does it solve my money trail adventures, but it looks cool and adds some flair to his side of the bed. Plus, its incredibly easy to do! You can find all these materials at your local craft store or use my bff Amazon and get it the next day.

Supplies
(this is where you can get creative and pick a smaller or bigger sheet, and pick different colors. We went with a nice neutral blush color)
Arm Muscle
Directions
This is for a large square using a 8.5 X 11 leather sheet.
Fold the sides of the leather together. Give it some good arm muscle to insure they are folded.
Take your leather hole punch and punch a hole about 1/2 inch from the top. More arm muscle here. If you have trouble getting it thru both sides, open it up and do each side. Make sure they are aligned together before doing so. Do this to each side.
Once you have your holes, fold each side again and take the rivets and insert thru the hole. Place the end rivet on the other side, and using the rivet setter and your hammer fasten the rivets together. The set will come with directions on how to use the rivet setter. Its really easy!
Do this to every side, and there you have it! Take it a step further, and personalize the leather inside the catchall. Our bff, Meghann Miniello did a simple “daddy”, but the sky’s the limit! A song, poem, or a special saying will look great in there.
Every daddy will love this gift! And so will all the Moms out there. No more money trails and receipt piles :) Now if I can come up with a stylish solution to all the empty water bottles in the house.
Happy Father’s Day!
xx
