When one of our favorite clients calls us to make her daughter’s 10th birthday special, we deliver!! Palmer’s mom Kate has thrown a few amazing Beijos parties with us, her youngest Bowie’s Super Hero birthday party and her oldest Peyton’s Beachy 10th Birthday Party. Palmer followed in big sisters foot steps and had her party in the same spot, the most perfect beach in Dana Point! Tween parties aren’t always easy to do but I feel like we nailed this one… Using a few of Palmer’s favorite colors we created a funky & fun party on the beach perfect for her and her 10 year old pals. As usual, our friend Alison Bernier snapped beautiful photos of our set up and the cute birthday girl. Check it all out below and get plenty of inspiration for your next tween party!
First, the invite! Designed by Chelcea Creative and capturing Palmer’s party with the cutest palm trees! Adding in checkered print, happy faces, and the cutest place cards to make this one complete and oh so cute!
Guests were greeted by the happiest and coolest welcome sign & balloons c/o Chelcea Creative & The Pop Shop. Clearly it doesn’t get cooler than a happy face winking with a lightning bolt!
Meanwhile our fun little set up was just steps away! Down on the beach we set the cutest low tables, pillows, & umbrellas from Sweet Salvage Rentals. The gorgeous backdrop is by Goldie Crew Creative and it was the very first time we worked with them! It’s been amazing ever since and they elevate our events each and every time!
Indeed every backdrop looks better with balloons! Especially those by The Pop Shop! And aren’t these colors so beautiful together?!
Next, I set the tables with our favorite Target plates and Hosess Haven’s beautiful napkins all in our color scheme. We added white tumblers and bamboo flatware, and then the details were brought in! Chelcea Creative designed adorable cocktail stirrers cut by Creative Amme and the cutest key chain place cards the girls could keep as a keepsake.
That is one cute table!

And there’s our beautiful birthday girl!!! Alison couldn’t resist snapping a few pics of her in all of her 10 year old glory!!

As a rule, you must have desserts at a birthday party… This was no exception! We continued the cool beachy set up with a surfboard backdrop and balloons! All of the adorable desserts by Sheila Mae were right on theme being both funky and colorful! Take a closer look, they are seriously amazing!
The girls couldn’t help but check out all the yummy!!
In addition to all the fun you’ve already seen we had The Boundless come out with all her gear! Guests got to customize their own sweatshirts and were each gifted the cutest hats as well. Such a special treat and we can’t recommend Alyssa the owner enough, she’s amazing!
Last but not least we had The Jolly Sheep come and spoil the kiddos with slushees! It’s always nice to sip on something cool and delicious on a warm beach day! Chelcea Creative and The Pop Shop helped dial up their cart to make it fit our aesthetic.
