Did you know that June is Pride month? Every year June is the month for the LGBT community to gather and celebrate across the globe. There are many events that we can all take part of that recognize the influence LGBT people have had around the world. It’s also a time to raise awareness towards current issues facing the community.
Being open minded, supportive and loving to all is something that is important to me and I think should be to everyone. I have people in my life who are part of the LGBTQIA community and I never want them to feel under represented or unaccepted in this world. I designed this rainbow tablescape as inspiration for everyone who wants to celebrate our LGBTQIA community in a positive way! Cheers to everyone who shares love for another person, no matter how it is. Love is love!
We are also featured today on Green Wedding Shoes!
Thanks for the beautiful photos Meredith of Zoom Theory!!!
Let’s start with this rad invite from Taryn of Twinkle & Toast! I love this girl and everything she lends her creative hand to is gold! We took that popular rainbow that’s been floating around the past year and added a Pride twist to it, and I love it!!
As we know, it’s all about the rainbow for Pride! My dear and uber talented friend Jesi Haack created the rainbow installation that hung over our table. It was all my little heart desired for this fun table and she made it happen!! I felt so honored to have her as a part of our shoot!
We took that rainbow motif to the table with the pretty flowers by Third & Park as well. Doesn’t it look like such a fun little party to be at?!
For rentals we used a white table and some really fun industrial white and yellow chairs – to add that pop – from Sweet Salvage Rentals. The table was set with Cherished Rentals pretty goods, I decided to go classy and simple with the china. I did a nice white with a pretty gold pattern to spice it up. Then we went colorful with a rainbow assortment of glassware!
Each place setting had a hand written place card and “Love is Love” print by Twinkle & Toast next to it along with a rainbow cookie by Frost Your Cookie! Loved adding those special and meaningful little details!
Can’t get enough of the AMAZING flowers by Third & Park. Fun and whimsical and representing that rainbow in the most beautiful way!
Then we added the bubbly! Our friends at One Hope are always looking to raise awareness to various charities. They have this amazing glitter rainbow bottle of Brut we used at the table. Every bottle sold helps fund a crisis hotline for LGBTQ youth. Isn’t that amazing?! Love how they help others.
And then we added some eats!!! Graes Platters made this lovely and yummy rainbow grazing board… And it was as tasty as it looks!! SO fun for a pride party or any party really!!
Sweet Salvage had this really great rainbow shaped shelving piece and we just had to have some fun with it!! Came out pretty cute, right?!
Another addition to this shoot was The Auradome, a really amazing photographer that captures your aura or the color that surrounds your energy!! The colorful vibe and mix of same sex couple photography really went well with this shoot, we love the vibe of it all! And it looks so pretty on that Chasing Stone styling surface, doesn’t it?!
And that’s a wrap… I hope this made you happy and gave you inspiration to celebrate LOVE and everyone around you! We have so much love for the LGBTQIA family, and are celebrating them this month and always!!!
Cheers!!!
xx
