Yes, I know Thanksgiving is in just a few days, but Christmas is in less than a month! So no better time to begin your Christmas decor, how many of you have started decorating already?! This year we teamed up with Pottery Barn and went plaid… So plaid, it’s good!
Plaid is such a classic Christmas print, and boy is it fun to play with! It’s fun to mix and play with different colors and plaid prints, and Pottery Barn has so many great ones to choose from! Keep scrolling to see us go mad for plaid!

Let’s start with our table… I gravitated to Pottery Barn’s Denver collection, they have so many options including dinner plates, salad plates, napkins, and this cute table throw! I mixed some of their classic pieces in to break up the plaid a bit like their Chateau acacia chargers and napkin rings, along with the black Mason flatware.
The cute place cards and So Plaid It’s Good signage is by Poppy Jack Shop, wouldn’t those place cards be adorable for Christmas? You can order them in her shop here!
The greenery garland runner is by Third & Park. You can never go wrong with some holiday greens for Christmas!!
I love mixing those classic Pottery Barn essentials with seasonal pieces!
As you can see, the plaid doesn’t stop at the table… But more on that later!
A winter and holiday essential are mugs! My husband and I don’t even drink coffee but we still need mugs because…. Hot cocoa!!! Wouldn’t it be great to wake up Christmas morning to this scene and have some of that?! I also added coupes for the parents because champagne is another Christmas essential!
I love these mugs and they really are the perfect holiday gift! So cute for each of the family members to get their letter! And of course that Denver Plaid just makes it so festive!
Such a pretty holiday scene!! And so much more plaid to discuss! You may notice the plaid throw on the back of the chair – because everyone needs some holiday coziness!
Speaking of, one of my favorite ways to decorate for the holidays are throw pillows. You know Pottery Barn has us covered there! I went with this buffalo check, Denver plaid lumbar, this Oakley sherpa and plaid and the all the way home pillow. You can shop all of them at the end of this post!
Love this festive table!! But wait, there is more…
Time to add the champagne!! Thanks One Hope for always making our gatherings festive! Oh, and you know I dressed the part with my cute plaid top from Tuckernuck! I can’t get enough of this brand, their pieces are all such great quality and so so cute!
Let’s start pouring!! For the adults of course – who really need it on Christmas, haha!
Now a treat for the kiddos! And for us kids at heart too, haha! Graes Platters made my holiday dreams come true with this sweet treat platter. Perfect for adding to your hot cocoa or just for snacking on. We laid it all on Pottery Barn’s large Chateau wood cheese board and it couldn’t look more yummy!
What an amazing sight to see for all of your guests! It’s just adorable!
Another treat?! Why not, it’s Christmas!! Sweet & Saucy Shop continued my plaid dreams with this plaid cake! Sitting pretty on Pottery Barn’s marble cake stand, this beauty fits right in!
Don’t you want to just dig in to all this yumminess?!
It’s a plaid party up in here!!!
And I’m drinking to that!!!
Now to add in these plaid party animals!!! Their pajamas are from the Gap and I’m obsessed. I also got them for their baby cousin, and boy is it cuteness overload when they all wear them together!
I think these hams like their mugs!
And they DEFINITELY liked the treat platter!!
I love adding wreaths to my home for the holidays and these by Third & Park are simple and pretty on the wall! Actually, having some greenery in my house any time of year makes me happy…
Let’s talk stockings! Pottery Barn has so many good ones to choose from, and you can get them monogrammed as well! I had fun mixing the plaids they offer on my mantle. I also added their cute plaid reindeer, aren’t they adorable?! They were a hit with my boys! I love those extra details that make your decor that much better and get the kids excited as well!
I spray painted the “so plaid it’s good signage” with our favorite COLORSHOT spray paint in stiletto. I think that pop of red really added something to this set up!
You know all the presents had to be wrapped in plaid with plaid bows as well! I linked all of these great plaid options at the bottom of this post and they are all from Amazon! Easy peasy, my kind of holiday shopping! Ha!
And did you notice the framed plaid above the mantle!? I used a piece of wrapping paper in a Framed & Matted frame. It was sort of a last minute decision that turned out super cute!! Fun idea, right?!
Look at these cuddle bugs!! Too cute!
Love this holiday set up and love these boys!!!
So what do you think – so plaid it’s good?! Would you go all plaid for your holiday decor?! I’m feeling it this year and hope I inspired you for your own home! Let’s kick off the holidays with a bang!! We are so excited for Christmas in our house, after turkey day you better believe it’s all Christmas, all the way!!
