Spring is such a beautiful season! The air is crisp, flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping and there is so much life everywhere. Due to all of our rain this year there has been a super bloom all around us. Of course our friends at Sur La Table had the quintessential new tabletop collection inspired by wildflowers that is perfect for outdoor entertaining this season. I was so happy to use it for an outdoor celebration bringing in this gorgeous season and all it has to offer, including delicious bites and yummy rosé! Get inspired to throw your own outdoor picnic with this beautiful collection and head to their site to shop it all here!
Stunning photos by my friend Alison Bernier
As per usual we are starting with a gorgeous invitation suite designed by the talented Chelcea Creative. I styled it all on a Chasing Stone mat and I’m loving how the field of wildflowers added these amazing shadows to it. Nature is pretty amazing, and so is this invitation suite.
Onto this magical table! We went outside to one of my favorite local parks and we were so thrilled to see the abundance of flowers all around us. We found the perfect spot to create our picnic amongst the wildflowers. For this one I chose to do a low table and pillows from our friends at Sweet Salvage Rentals, always fun for a picnic setting!
The star of the show were Sur La Tables beautiful melamine wildflower plates! I love the pattern and how whimsical it is. I paired them with their rattan chargers, gold flatware, soft pink linen napkin, wine glass, and that amazing pink hued stemless wine glass. Loving all of the soft colors paired with the gorgeous florals!
Speaking of gorgeous florals, my friend Krista of Not Just in Novels really outdid herself with these amazing arrangements. The mixture of soft and bright colors and all of the different textures was exactly the ethereal wildflower feel I was looking for!
I took off the details to showcase the Wildflower Salad Plate from Sur La Table as well. It looks so pretty on top of the dinner plate. I have to say, I’m so excited about those pink napkins and the pink glassware! Pink is always a fun addition to any tablescape…
Wow! Those florals are truly stunning!!
I was so impressed with the quality of Sur La Table’s melamine here. It’s thicker than your average melamine plate and definitely built to last.
So much pretty…
We couldn’t let this beauty get by without enjoying it!!! We decided to pour ourselves a glass of rosé and take it all in! Krista and Marnie started things off, as they should! They worked hard to make this magic!!
Taylor Made Catering brought the perfect bite sized treats for us to nosh on. Pastries, tea sandwiches, and bread with a butter board served as the perfect amount of food for us to enjoy at this day time soiree! It doesn’t hurt that they make their food look as good as it tastes. Such a gorgeous spread…
I want to dive right into all of that yumminess!
Sur La Table also has the prettiest tea towels and appetizer plates that coordinate with the Wildflower Collection. I had to showcase these cuties with all these tasty treats! Spring time is the best time, don’t you think?
My turn to join in on the fun! Love these girls and we always have so much fun working together, along with that beautiful friend of mine behind the lens!!
Butter board? Don’t mind if I do!
Cheers to friendship and creating beauty in the most beautiful setting!
Did you find yourself wondering where all the rosé was flowing from?! Our beautiful bar from Sweet Salvage Rentals, of course!
All of Sur La Table’s incredible glassware was on display here from coupes to wine glasses, along with the Wildflower Tray that I am obsessed with!! Wait till you see the detail…
Now that’s a cake!!!!
Keep it flowing Marnie!!!
Cheers to rosé and this tray!!!
