TGIF!
This week has been a long one! The kiddies are at sports camp which leaves me loose and fancy-free here at home. Filled with spa appointments, lunch with friends, and shopping all day long. YEAH RIGHT! Try I was given a hunny to do list from the hubby, consisting of all kinds of fun house projects. Sanding, painting, filling in nails… sounds like fun huh! My mind has been on next week’s festivities, and what appetizer and cocktail am I going to bring to the neighborhood block party. Trying to do a cocktail for a crowd can get challenging, especially if you are like me and presentation is key! One rule I always tell people is to keep it simple for crowds.
For 4th of July cocktails, I like to include fresh fruit and usually have it include something frozen, it’s usually always a sweltering day. This cocktail is extremely simple but oh so delicious! Grab some popsicles and vino, and let’s celebrate America!
I N G R E D I E N T S
popsicles (one per drink)
white wine or rosé (chilled)
fresh fruit
D I R E C T I O N S
When ready to serve, pour your chilled wine into the glasses. Throw in some fresh berries, if they are frozen even better! That will help keep the wine chilled if it’s really hot outside. Then just put in a popsicle, and serve immediately. Super easy, yes it is!
