4/20 Tablescape – Living Young, Wild & Free

By April 15, 2020 No Comments

Like Abby said yesterday, this week we are celebrating 4/20! Did you know this whole month is 4/20?! Because 2020? Well since 2020 has been such a jerk so far maybe that’s the best thing we can get out of it?! I don’t know but I guess I’ll take it!

I had the idea to do this week back in January. I was thinking about doing a tablescape and decided that infamous Snoop Dogg song “Living Young, Wild and Free” would be my theme. Mainly because I think the song is good but also because it sort of describes the vibe I wanted to get across.

Now that marijuana is legal in California and CBD is becoming more and more popular, hosting events based on them isn’t out of question. As a matter of fact weddings are even showcasing everyone’s favorite herbal enjoyment! So why not host a dinner party?! Check out our take on it with these pretty photos by Corrie Lynn Photo

For this table, we felt herbal… With all greens of course! And even a touch of a pot plant or two… Third & Park did the prettiest runner of potted greenery and I love it!! We also used Sweet Salvage Rentals pretty pieces, those are new chairs they just got in their inventory…. Aren’t they fun?! And of course they always have the best rugs!

The table was set with Cherished Rentals pretty heath ceramic plates, along with green and white pressed glassware and gold flatware. Everything was set upon these pretty macrame placemats made by our friend Nicole at The Neutral Knot. Aren’t they so pretty?! Such a fun addition to the table!

Of course we had to have a few fun details like these stir sticks by Creative Amme! Mirrored acrylic for the win, because it’s festive and fun!!!

I’m loving all of the greenery along the table and those pretty napkins! Did you know that Third & Park not only does florals but she also has a few rental pieces – one being these gorgeous green napkins!

Hanging over the table was more pretty from The Neutral Knot! These macrame plant hangers are so pretty and such a fun addition to any room or outdoor space in your home! May want to try and do some redecorating with them over quarantine!

The place cards and pretty calligraphy are by The Proper Letter – love that copper color to go with the copper tumblers that are actually mine at home!

I had to add our theme somewhere on this shoot! Living young, wild and free was on the wall behind our table setting the tone for this whole party! Thanks to Creative Amme with her cute vinyl signage…

Lots of pretty in one space!! Tell us, is this a holiday you’d be interested in celebrating with your friends?! Maybe. next year when we can all gather! But you could do something small at home!

We made it easy for you to recreate this party below!

xx
