Cute Easter Donuts To Make With The Kids

By April 1, 2020 No Comments

Anyone else looking for fun projects to do with the kids these days? I think it’s essential during this time, to make things as normal as possible, plus maybe a little extra special for the kids! My kids are fully aware of these times being written out in history before our eyes. They have had a lot of questions, and those little buggers can feel the stress too! I mean, Mom and Dad are homeschooling them! Being stuck at home during a holiday where you don’t get to visit family and friends, sucks for all! So fun little treats like these easter donuts, everyone will love. Scroll down to see how to create this sweet little breakfast treat for the family! P.S. my kids loved doing this with me!

A little trick, I used a little bit of honey on top for a sweet touch; it also helps to keep the dried florals and chocolate eggs on top of the donut. Sprinkle some edible flowers on top for a fun and delicate touch! You can omit this section for the kids. Then place a couple of robin’s eggs on top of the donut. I let them sit a bit so they would stick to the donut. These little guys lasted maybe 6 minutes in my house.
