Dive in to this beautiful under the sea party! Kaylie & Claire were celebrating another year around the sun and this year they decided on a mermaid theme. We’ve been lucky enough to celebrate with these sweet sisters for a few years now and you can see them here, here and here! Every party has been amazing and this one is no exception. Our color scheme was full of cool toned pretty pastels and the girls got a beautiful sunny day on the water to shake their fins. It was the perfect little party and sure enough our girl Alison Bernier was there to capture it all first hand. See all the mermaid magic below!
We set the tables and chairs from Create a Party in the backyard for the kiddos to sit at. Those bright colored chairs in our color scheme were too cute to pass up! For the tabletop we used Meri Meri’s eco friendly plates, shell & seahorse napkins, and sparkly mermaid cups. With a few seashells and Earth & Grace’s beautiful blooms it was the perfect under the sea table setting!
Adding a touch of gold with the flatware was a fun touch. Ariel would be proud of our dinglehoppers!
How about those amazing balloons in the background?! The Pop Shop made the most incredible balloon wall installation. Adding the starfish and iridescent fringe was so magical!
To add to the shellebration we had this inflatable clam shell! The perfect little photo op spot and a great place for our guests of honor to hang out. The Pop Shop added her magic yet again and these adorable sister photos are my favorites!!
Baby brother had to jump in for some kisses and cuddles too!!
Of course our little guests had to look the part! Mermaid tails & bikinis for all the girls to wear and party in!! Kaylie & Claire’s mom found these cute coral reef cut outs on Etsy – we thought they were adorable!
In addition to all of that fun, our friends from Create & Celebrate came out to do arts & crafts. The perfect day for sand art, don’t you think?! The sand colors matched our party colors and was such a fun way to get creative. Lastly, we couldn’t forget custom signage from Poppy Jack Shop to finish it off!
Guests were able to snack on yummy Mendocino Farms sandwiches and other small bites at this cute food set up….
Obviously two girls means two cakes!! These beauties were made by the lovely ladies at Sugar from the Heart. The custom name cake toppers from Poppy Jack Shop are always a nice touch. I can’t get enough of how pretty these are!!
In addition to two delicious cakes there were yummy popsicles from Pacific Organic Pops, wow!

Guests of honor Ariel and her mermaid friend from Once Upon an Island came to hang out with the girls. How special is that?! Almost as special as a photo op moment on daddy’s boat! Living the life ladies!!
