Miranda + JB – Laguna Beach Wedding

By August 24, 2020 BEIJOS WEDDING, WEDDINGS

This wedding dates back to last Fall, you know when we were still actually planning weddings. It was a beautiful day at The Ranch at Laguna Beach nestled in the canyon. The perfect day for a wedding, and we had the perfect couple. Miranda and JB are the sweetest, we were honored to be part of their special day.

Miranda used to work with Leah and I, before Beijos, and now she’s in school to become a nurse. She and JB met at a party on the beach and have been together since. Their romance is highlighted by Miranda’s son Jenson who has fallen just as in love with JB. JB in turn has taken on the role of dad so well and loves him so much. It was so sweet to see the three of them officially become a family.

This is one gorgeous wedding filled with pretty details and we are excited to share all of the beautiful images from Katelin Wallace Photography with you today!

The mustard tones in the invite set the tone. You’ll see this beautiful shade carried on through-out the wedding but we especially love it here. This invite suite designed by South Paw Ink is absolutely stunning.

The bride and her maids pre partied with a little bubbly! They may have had just a little bit of fun… And aren’t their robes cute?! They were an Etsy find by Miranda!

Every bride needs a pair of pretty shoes! Miranda chose Stuart Weitzman!

There’s our gorgeous bride and her beautiful maid of honor, who happens to be our dear friend Alex and owner of Third & Park. She is Miranda’s cousin and helped her plan this amazing wedding, she deserves a lot of credit for all the pretty you’ll see today!

The boys got ready together as well! JB and Jenson look so handsome, don’t you think?!

This will forever be one of my favorite bouquets, done by none other than Bloom Babes! We love working with these girls. Not only are they extremely talented and creative, but they are also the absolute sweetest!!

Miranda’s dress is by Savannah Miller and her hair and makeup were by Danielle Ryan Beauty.

Nothing like a sweet first look…

Aren’t they a gorgeous couple?! I love the way they look at each other in these photos…

The happy new family! Doesn’t Jenson look so proud?! He’s such a cutie!

The bridal party looked amazing in their neutral tones. I loved the mixture of mustard, nudes, and pinks… They look great together!!

And a few of the bride and groom of course!

Their ceremony site was so pretty. Under rows of tall trees, we set up the altar with a beautiful installation by Bloom Babes. There was a long walk for the bridal party but well worth it. That long walk made it that much more dramatic and amazing…

Jenson was by far my favorite moment of the ceremony. This sweet boy was so happy and full of emotion. Love him!!

Married!!!

And now for some sunset photos of the new Mr. & Mrs.

And now for the party! Guests were greeted with pink Himalayan shot glasses! They were also the escort arrangement and it looked so darn pretty. The signage and escort cards are all by our talented friend Poppy Jack Shop.

We repurposed the aisle arrangements for the sweetheart table. They looked so pretty flanking the couples first meal together!

The tables were lined with more beautiful floral arrangements and lots and lots of candles! Mustard colored napkins were at each plate and silk chiffon runners were added as well. All of the tabletop items were from Third & Park – yes she has tabletop too! The tables and chairs were by local spot, Baker Party Rentals. Pretty set up all together!

These flowers!!!! The texture and colors, Bloom Babes sure knows what they are doing…

Homemade

The wedding cake was from Sugar Crush Sweets. Simple, sweet, delicious and adorned with pretty florals… Just the way we like it!

First dance is the best dance! JB and Miranda chose “Oh What a World” by Kacey Musgraves.

What a party!! And those shot glasses came in handy! The guests danced the night away while Dart DJ’s kept the music going…

Such a fun day and a beautiful family… We are beyond happy for these three! Congrats!!

xx
