Are you like me and seem to ALWAYS buy dresses?! Whenever I go to find a good top in my closet there are none to be found! So this year I decided to invest more in tops. I think the reason I don’t is because they can be somewhat pricey and almost the same as a dress, so I’ll think to myself, why not just buy the dress? Well silly me, tops can go with so much more! And statement tops are so fun!! You can dress them up or down, with shorts, jeans, skirts, you name it. So this is obviously where I should start putting more of my money!
We found some really great statement tops for Spring we are excited to share with you. I say “statement” tops because they are each printed and really make a statement with your outfit. Keep scrolling to shop our looks and to see how we styled them. I think some of our favorites may be some of yours too!

I found this Jen’s Pirate Booty top at one of my favorite boutiques – Prism. I fell in love with the print and the fit of it but at the time thought it was a little too pricey… But, when I got home I couldn’t stop thinking about it!! Lucky me, a week or so later they had a flash sale and I just had to snag it up and I’m so glad I did!
I’ve worn it so many times since and love it. It’s the perfect statement top to take me into summer! Here I wore it with my Madewell High Rise Skinnies, Cleobella fringe purse (similar here), Wyeth Sunglasses and Free People Sandals. But I envision it with some denim shorts or overalls when it gets warmer!

Abby is jumping in on the statement top game strong with this top by Boemo. The colors and print are so pretty for Spring and we love the black lace touch on the shoulders. This is another great bohemian style top that can be dressed casually with some cute shorts like Abby has on here, or dressed up with a pair of black denim. Abby’s sandals are so cute and from one of our favorite stores – Target!! You guys gotta snatch these up fast!
This top just reminds me of warm days and would be so cute to wear all Summer long. It would be especially cute over a swimsuit on an Island getaway… I mean, just saying but shouldn’t Abby’s hubby take her on a vacay just so she can wear this top? I think so!

My second top is just too good, seriously goes with EVERYTHING! This top by Amuse Society could definitely be worn to work with some black pants or a skirt and then obviously more casually with jeans. A perfect day to night statement top!
I love the simple but graphic black and white print. I again paired it with my Madewell High Rise Skinnies – I’ve been wearing the crap out of those lately – a cute hat by Brixton, my favorite Cleobella clutch and my Dolce Vita booties.
I like this look for the colder Spring days but would definitely lose the hat and boots if it was warmer. Probably throw on some denim shorts and sandals, or even some sneakers!
We’ve got more fun style posts coming up soon! Now get out there and try some fun statement tops on!
xx
