Happy Sunday! I thought this would be the perfect chance to chat decor for the best and most celebrated holiday… Mothers Day! YAY! Mother’s Day is always a big holiday in my family. With it right next to my birthday, May 11, my sisters birthday, May 10, and lastly my grandma’s birthday May 15th, we do a big celebration each year. When I was little, my world would be upside down when I had to share my birthday with other people. How dare my sister be born the day before! Now, as a mom myself, I love when the whole family gets together. Our little celebration party will usually take place as my aunts by the pool, where if we are lucky the weather will be nice for all the little ones to swim. This year, I wanted to help out with table decor. Any sort of event with several people, you don’t want to break the bank. I found some great affordable items from my favorite Target and my Best Friend, Amazon. So, ladies and even you gentlemen take note. Surprise mom with a pretty in pink table that will put even a bigger smile on her face for Mother’s Day.

Let’s start with the everyday basics that build any tablescape. I like to have some white plates, fun flatware, and colored glassware around the house to build a table setting for any occasion. When I saw these Dwell Modern Studio Stoneware Glazed Plates from Target, I had to buy them! Add to cart, yes please! Pretty amazing plates! I’m buying a couple of sets at a time currently to act as my everyday plates. If I were you, I would get these babies before I take them all! I also have these dusty rose ceramic plates that I got from Urban Outfitters that I will be putting on top of the white plate. It is always fun to layer your plates.  Any entertainer should have a classic champagne coupe in their collection, and I found these pretty ladies on Amazon, see them here. Since it will be brunch, I love these peach juice tumblers  to add to the table for juice. Add texture with a fringe placemat, and what I love about this one is that I can use these every day as well. Always a winner in my book when I can reuse my table setting items. Pop in some color and pattern with Threshold’s Pink Medallion Napkin. Love fun napkin holders? You will love this braided jute one. It reminds me of my macrame weavings; I love adding a little boho touch. Lastly, my favorite the new flatware I’m obsessed with. This modern white and gold flatware I got on Amazon, and it was one of the best purchases! A little pricey, but so worth it!

As you can see, all these items you can totally use again and for any occasion. I always say when you purchase items like these, try to think of at least three different ways or occasions you can use them for. If you can, then it warrants its purchase right?!

Now let’s talk flowers. Any Mother’s Day table needs pretty flowers in the middle. I love this DIY flower arrangement recipe from The House that Lars Built. I think it’s always a special touch when you do the flowers yourself, put some love and pride into making this table special for the mama in your life.

Some fun inspiration for next Sunday if you ask me! This will surely put a smile on your favorite Mama!
